The hospital site is desperately in need of nurses, in significant need for surgeons - particularly ortho trauma, but also plastics, and physical therapists & primary care doctors like internists are needed to take care of the non-surgical issues. Follow Penn State Hershey Medical Center doctors and nurses in their joint effort with Operation Smile to provide surgical care to victims of the Haiti earthquake. The team is situated in Fond Parisien at the Love a Child orphanage, about 45 minutes outside of Port-au-Prince.

oh paulini, jay will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days... i'm glad that he's going but so worried about what he will see there... i can't imagine the devastation... but it's wonderful that he is willing and able to help. please let us know if there's anything we can do. hugs from lori...
